Glenn Beck, I am sure you have heard of him. He is one of the top political talk shows of our time. Whether you love him or hate him.....let's face it.....He has listeners and lots of them!

I happen to like Mr. Beck. I agree with most of his views. (please no hate mail!) lol

Afterall, What would the world be like if everyone had the same views? A pretty boring place THAT'S WHAT.

I used to listen to Glenn Beck after dropping my daughter off at school every morning. Not only does he have a great show filled with topics that I find interesting but he is FUNNY! So, if you happened to pull up beside me while I was listening you would probably see me laughing hysterically.

How am I getting my Glenn Beck fix these days? TV of course! I love the fact that he has his own talk show on tv where I can watch him every night.

I have never been able to attend one of his shows LIVE but I heard they are HUGE everywhere he goes. Right now he is heading up a Summer Political Tour and his next stop is Dallas, TX on July 17th. If you are in the Dallas area then you must check out his LIVE show.

Yeah Yeah I know I am supposed to be showcasing some awesome accessories but I know someone out there needs a great recipe, right? I know someone is just searching for something special for that 4th of July cook-out.

Here's something PERFECT:

"Flag Cake"

Serves 12
Mix up and bake your favorite cake mix or recipe. Let cool.
Slice 1 cup of strawberries, set aside. Halve remaining strawberries, set aside.
Top cake (in pan) with 1 cup sliced strawberries, 1 cup blueberries and all of the whipped topping. Arrange remaining strawberry halves and blueberries on whipped topping to create a flag design. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

I love watching Criss Angel and I try to never miss a show that he is on. Are you often asking yourself...."How on EARTH does he do that?" I just sit there in awe half the time.

We have been watching magic tricks for a long time now and nothing compares to Criss Angel in my opinion. Sure Houdini and Copperfield were great but no one blows my mind quiet like Criss. He is a master in today's world. You can catch Criss Angel and all the great mysteries surrounding him at the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas where he is now performing. I would love to see him perform live! He also has a new performance in Circe De Soleil called CRISS ANGEL Believe and it should also be a KNOCK-OUT!

Do you like to listen to music while you blog? I do! I often crank up the tunes on my ipod however I can't do this when my little ones are around because of the ear phones. You see, my kids often get into TROUBLE and I would like to have all ears on them. BUT WAIT, now there is a blog where you can read cool articles and listen to F-R-E-E music!! The Blog is Sites and Sounds and they have a pretty nice selection of articles about various music groups. It's pretty interesting to learn about new artists and get a little sampling of their sounds. I just read a piece about a band named Megaphone. Ah, I smell another HIT coming. USA Network's new original series In Plain Sight debuts June 1st. Mary McCormack plays the role as Mary Shannon. She is a US Marshall who works for the federal witness protection program. Her job is to protect those in this program by doing what it takes. This may sound like a cool job but it has it's dangers thus the reason her family doesn't even know about it. Supporting her in this series is an excellent list of actors. I can not wait for the show to air. It seems like a real winner! Be sure to set your tivo for this one. Can you find Mary? You can't have Lasik surgery because ???

You spent all your money betting on the OTHER DAVID (American Idol)!
Oh, don't fret my friends! Lasik eye surgery will not break the bank as you thought it would. Just think of all the money you spend on eye glasses and exams per year. You could just be saving money by having the surgery.
The surgery is amazing. I have not personally had it but two friends of mine had it done and they swear by it. They mentioned that as soon as the "SUPER QUICK" surgery was over they could see 100% better. It's like they never even needed glasses in the first place. There was no pain involved and the recovery time was unbelievably quick. So, if you are tired of wearing glasses or contacts I highly recommend Lasik eye surgery. Summer is near....Time for CAMP!

I bet you are just thrilled beyond belief about summer's fast approach, right? I know I am utterly excited because that means vacations and pool time! My children also attend camp during July and just LOOOOVE it. If you have a summer camp near you then I highly suggest signing your children up for it. They will enjoy their time and you just might enjoy a little "Quiet time" there at the house!

If you are in or near the NEW YORK area then I suggest Circus Summer camp NEW YORK. Your little one could enjoy juggling, balance acts and even trapeze time! (I would like to do some of those myself.) Circus Arts Camp New York has been around for nearly 20 years now. The directors and staff members are fully dedicated to your children. Circus Camp New York is for children ages 4-16 and there are different skill groups for each age.

A great way to unwind after a long day at the office *or dealing with the kiddos* is to jump in the nearest bathtub with some candles and a nice smelling bubble bath. HEAVEN!

What are some of your favorite scents? They say that Lavendar is "calming" scent. Here is a fantastic recipe for Lavendar bath salts. Feel free to share with a friend too!

epsom salts or sea salt, or both, and baking soda
essential oils - lavendar

food coloring
1 or 2 teaspoons of glycerin per jar - optional, but glycerin is an effective skin moisturizer and a nice addition
For the Decorative Glass Jars -
four glass jars
printable jar labels

General Instructions:

1. Collect your jars, remove labels, then wash and dry thoroughly.

2. For most bath salts recipes you can use your choice of epsom salts or sea salt, with baking soda, if desired, or a combination of all three. One good mix is one cup of epsom salts, with 1/4 cup of sea salt, and two or three tablespoons of baking soda. A little more or less of each ingredient is fine for most bath salts. Epsom salts and sea salt are soothing for tired muscles, while both will gently soften the water for a luxurious bath experience. You could also add a tablespoon or two of finely ground regular oatmeal (not quick cooking) for silky, skin-softening water.

3. Fill each jar to the top with the combination of bath salts that you plan to use. Empty the salts into a mixing jar and add a drop or two of glycerin, if using.

Add your choice of essential oil - how many drops you use is a personal preference, but start with two or three drops and see if you like the fragrance. The same goes for the liquid food coloring; sometimes I use quite a few drops of food color to get the strong hue that I like, but so far it hasn't stained the bath tub or anyone's skin. Remember that the color and fragrance will be much diluted in the bath water. Stir the salts vigorously until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

I just ran across a blog with a tremendous source of information. So, grab a cup of coffee and join me as we discover everything Stylish Design has to offer. Well, first I must say that the design layout is perfect. You don't have to search all over the site just to find what you are looking for. Just by looking on the right hand side I find several interesting posts to read. One of the posts caught my eye as soon as I glanced over there....."Use blogs to help build your business". The article/post provided a great amount of information especially to those just starting blogs. I highly recommend reading the post if you are interested in making extra money with your blog.

Another article that I jumped at the chance to read was "Why bother using search engines for your marketing". There is definately a lot to think about before adding your site to any of the search engines. Oh, and don't leave the blog without reading a post about Apache.

So whether you are looking for information on web design, search engine optimization or just the latest info on gadgets and web tools I highly suggest checking out Stylish Design.

I can tell that a lot of time went into the research and best of all everything is in one place for you to read.
